The first year of a baby’s life is filled with memories that are waiting to be made. There are many things to do in California with a baby and it is the best place to raise children. It’s full of magical moments that you can share with your child from the moment they are born. Your child will be a true lover of world-class museums, restaurants, and shows from an early age.
Here is the list of Things To Do In California With A Baby:
Visit Griffith Park
Babies make it challenging to slow down and appreciate the beauty of nature, including Griffith Park. You can ride Walt Disney’s beloved carousel, take photos with your baby on a pony, ride a train, or relax far away from the madness.
Visit the LA Zoo
Why not visit the LA Zoo while you’re at Griffith Park? Even the youngest tots love the meerkats and seal shows. But my little weird loved the geese. You should bring a stroller that has shade as there are many sunny spots. Membership is an excellent deal if you intend to go more than once. I asked, but unfortunately, you cannot jump in the otter play zone to join the fun.
Adventure City is the baby’s first (and only) theme park
The park describes itself as “a small theme park that’s big in fun,” It is ideally positioned between Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm. Babies aged 12 months or younger can enter the park free of charge. Otherwise, general admission costs $25 and is for everyone. Many rides are gentle enough to be enjoyed by a baby (along with an adult). It is small and easy to navigate, so the Adventure City Express Train, which circles the park, is an excellent first ride for children. A carousel, Thomas the Tank Engine play zone, and a petting area are also available. There are even more options for toddlers. However, the best caramel apple I have ever eaten is what big kids will find boring. (Babies can have their food and formula. No outside food is allowed.
Disneyland is the first central theme park for a baby
After you have tried the waters of the theme park waters once, you may be ready to go to the granddaddy. It’s a great place to bring your little ones. Babies can get in for free, and there are many ways to entertain them. Of course, you will cherish the picture of your babywearing their first mouse ears. Shop at the farmers market
Even if your baby is still on liquid food, it is possible to introduce fruits and vegetables to them as soon as they are young. LA’s farmers market is an excellent place for young children. Many vendors offer samples which is a perfect way for babies to try new things or stock up on organic, fresh, and local goods made into baby food at home. Many markets in the area, but the Farmers Market is still located at 3rd and Fairfax.
Have an encounter with an animal
I was utterly lost for words when my daughter and I decided to take her to the Rose Bowl Riders in Hahamonga Watershed. We got to see big kids riding, and we also had the opportunity to pet many more horses. They were not bothered by my daughter’s yelling, “NEIGH!” They were so sweet. The show was free and included a petting area. Many great petting zoos near Los Angeles allow babies to get up close and personal with their furry friends.
Take a walk in a garden
There are many great places to stroll a stroller, such as the Huntington, Descanso Gardens, and LA Arboretum. My daughter learned to “Sniff the Flowers” from me. This is a way for her to regulate her emotions and breathe. Hidden away in The Huntington’s lush grounds is a small children’s garden that features fountains and water misters for all ages. If you have a new walker, bring some change of clothes. Kids can get wet quickly.
