Fort Lauderdale is a place I consider to be low-key. Miami. Both cities in Southeast Florida have plenty to offer, from museums and nightlife to beaches and nature experiences. There are many activities here that are as popular as Miami but are also cheaper and more accessible. It is excellent for both young and old, with so many options. These are 9 Things To Do In Florida Fort Lauderdale.

Fort Lauderdale has many things to offer, whether you’re looking for art and music at night or museums and culinary delights during the day.
Take a stroll down Las Olas.
Las Olas Boulevard is the best way to say you’ve visited Fort Lauderdale. The famous street is lined with bars, restaurants, and boutiques. It has views of the canals that almost remind you of Venice. Gondola rides through the canals are possible!
I recommend visiting the shops during the day and eating at great restaurants such as Yolo, Casa Sensei, and Rocco’s Tacos. In addition, there are many bars that you can visit at night. My favorites include Vinos, Fat Cats, and the Rooftop.
Sail Away on the Jungle Queen Riverboat
A Jungle Queen Riverboat Cruise is one of Fort Lauderdale’s most popular and enjoyable activities. Since 1935, the Jungle Queen offers sightseeing cruises and dinner shows. While relaxing on a riverboat, you can see the Millionaire’s Row houses and enjoy a meal and drink.
Take a Mural Tour
Just south of Fort Lauderdale is Wynwood. Although it is the most famous place to view murals, there are many other options. Excellent, you can also. Downtown Hollywood Mural Project is a great place to visit, with a dozen different murals by local artists. The Yard at Wilton Manors was also a great Urban Oasis with many colorful sights. It is one of many things Fort Lauderdale offers, whether you are there to take photos or enjoy the views.
See Mermaids at the Wreck Bar
The famous bar in Fort Lauderdale where patrons can see mermaids through portholes is known to exist. The Wreck Bar at the B Resort offers Mermaid and Merman burlesque shows featuring underwater performers as mermaids. You can see into the pool via portals from the bar, but it feels like you’re watching a show below decks! You can also find a kid-friendly and brunch show at the bar, so make sure you check it out if this is something that interests you in Fort Lauderdale.
Visit a Museum
Fort Lauderdale also has a few museums that are worth a visit. The Museum of Discovery is the most popular. It is fun for all ages. The interactive exhibits were fun and the otters swimming around was a great experience. Fort art enthusiasts will love the NSU Art Museum, which is full of modernist designs. Or, you can take your kids to Young at Art for an interactive experience. Finally, the Antique Car Museum is a great place for classic car enthusiasts. It has the most extensive collection of Packard cars, as well as an exhibit about FDR.

Fort Lauderdale is a great place to enjoy the performing arts. There are many shows to be seen at the Broward Centre for the Performing Arts and the Parker Playhouse. You can find the show you love at any of these venues, whether you are a fan of musicals, stand-ups, or classic plays. Fort Lauderdale is a great place to enjoy a delicious dinner and then go to a show.
Check out a Local Brewery
Fort Lauderdale is one of the most popular destinations in America. Best Funky Buddha Brewing was the first Florida brewery to open. The expansive taproom offers a variety of beers, games, and even a tour of the large brewhouse. You can also enjoy a unique beer taste at breweries like Tarpon River Brewing or Invasive Species Brewing. They also have taprooms.
